The upgrade to the penthouse was a pleasant surprise.

Unfortunately, the experience at check-in was frustrating. We were initially charged for an early check-in despite arriving when our room was ready. Additionally, service at the restaurant felt overpriced and the staff seemed more focused on upselling than ensuring a comfortable stay.

The views are stunning, and the breakfast was delicious! However, the pool and jacuzzi could definitely use some cleaning up. Overall, a great place to unwind despite a few hiccups.

The local artwork displayed throughout the resort really added to the authentic Costa Rican vibe and created a unique atmosphere.

The sliding doors to the balcony were difficult to open and close, which detracted from our overall comfort.

i almost thought this place could redeem itself, but the dirty bathtub was a major letdown. i also couldn’t enjoy the jacuzzi because it was gross—what's the point? frankly, i expected swanky treatment due to my sophisticated taste, but the service was far too lax.
